However, the change we require is to help enterprises to gain the maximum value out of their data, as opposed to simply storing more and more of it.<BR/><BR/>Discovery is just one simple part of the data integration lifecycle which provides a complete framework to ensuring that an enterprise can ensure they are in control of and gaining the maximum value from their data assets - whether held within fragmented operational systems, fragmented analytical systems or increasingly dispersed across the clouds in SaaS services.<BR/><BR/>Storage infrastructure has become commoditized. People are no longer concerned about the latest go-faster stripes on a disk array - indeed they are increasingly absolving responsibility for the storage of their data as they turn to cloud computing.
